Eggless Chocolate Cake

Chocolate Cake 

Ingredients 

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup water

Method:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the vegetable oil, vinegar, vanilla extract, and water.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined and smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Serve the cake as is, or dust with powdered sugar or top with your favorite frosting.
