Chocolate Cookies in Oven

Chocolate cookies 

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the milk and vanilla extract to the mixing bowl and mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake the cookies for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are slightly firm to the touch.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Serve and enjoy!

This recipe should yield about 18-20 cookies, depending on the size of the cookie scoop or tablespoon used.
