Bread Recipe


  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil:

Method :

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add the warm water and oil to the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place the loaf in a greased bread pan.
  6. Cover the loaf with a damp cloth and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  8. Bake the bread for 30-35 minutes, or until it’s golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  9. Remove the bread from the pan and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
