Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil:
Method :
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
- Add the warm water and oil to the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place the loaf in a greased bread pan.
- Cover the loaf with a damp cloth and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake the bread for 30-35 minutes, or until it’s golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
- Remove the bread from the pan and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
