Ingredients :
- 4 medium sized potatoes
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for brushing
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C/400°F.
- Peel and boil the potatoes until they are soft and cooked through. Drain the water and let the potatoes cool.
- Once the potatoes have cooled down, mash them in a bowl.
- Add bread crumbs, chopped onions, coriander leaves, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, and salt to the mashed potatoes. Mix well.
- Grease a baking tray with oil.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into flat patties.
- Place the patties on the greased baking tray.
- Brush the patties with oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Flip the patties halfway through the cooking process, so that they cook evenly on both sides.
- Once the Aloo Tikkis are cooked, remove them from the oven and serve hot with mint chutney or any dipping sauce of your choice.
